Thin-Film Sensor for Power Banks

Hyper-Tactile’s thin-film pressure sensor solution for power banks adopts customized thin-film pressure sensors, integrated inside power banks in a front-pressure layout. Installed between the battery and bottom housing, the sensor receives pressure transmitted via a silicone buffer layer. It monitors real-time changes in expansion force of the battery during charging and discharging, and generates real-time data curves via a supporting APP. Providing force-dimension detection and early warning for power bank battery safety, this solution effectively prevents safety hazards caused by excessive battery expansion.

Battery Safety Early Warning

It continuously monitors variations in battery expansion force during charge and discharge. An alert will be triggered once the expansion force exceeds the safety threshold, fundamentally mitigating potential risks such as fire and explosion induced by excessive battery swelling.

Visualized Data Management

The supporting APP displays battery expansion force and generates real-time curves, enabling users to intuitively check battery health status and determine whether battery replacement is required.

Low Cost & Easy Integration

Utilizing ultra-thin flexible thin-film pressure sensors, the sensor can be directly attached between the battery and housing. No modification to existing power bank structural design is needed, facilitating standardized production and integration.
